Each room received its own signature color, creating a unique atmosphere. In the dining room, a mountain blue combines with the subtle red tones of the seat cushions and the dark table to create a cheerful calm. In the salon, red and pink textiles dominate, while in the vestibule, the yellow of the carpet stands out. For custom project requirements, such as the example of the embassy in Minsk, Ruckstuhl’s in-house customizing department develops individual carpets. This can involve modifying an existing Ruckstuhl carpet, such as changing the pile height, creating a new material combination, or other adjustments. Ruckstuhl also realizes completely new carpet designs to meet requirements and wishes unconditionally. Customer-specific demands regarding color, material, design, and construction can be transformed into an individual carpet composition – starting from just one carpet. There are hardly any design limits to the visions. The creative possibilities range from traditional weaving craft elements to state-of-the-art robot and CAD technology, as well as individual requests regarding finishing and final processing. To faithfully reproduce Frédéric Dedelley’s specifications for representative use, the color blends made from melange virgin wool yarns were dyed in the Emmental and processed on the tufting robot in Ruckstuhl’s Langenthal manufactory into high-quality unique carpets according to special specifications.
