Novartis Campus Forum 3
The Novartis Campus in the northwest of Basel has become an international place of knowledge, innovation, and interaction. The master plan by Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani envisions individual buildings designed and executed by invited architects. Roger Diener, Helmut Federle, and Gerold Wiederin started with Forum 3. This project aims to promote communication, creativity, and employee engagement through an aesthetic and functional design of the work environment.
This idea takes shape with the Diener building. As in the outdoor spaces, the interior of the building features various types of work and meeting areas—open, transparent, diverse, and flexible spaces that encourage interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

One building, three applications, one handwriting.
The interior design was created with the same effort and care as the architecture of this spectacular building. Together with the renowned interior designer Sevil Peach, Ruckstuhl was able to showcase its strengths here: high-quality flooring made from the finest natural fibers, subtly coordinated colors, timeless design.
For representative lounges and meeting rooms, custom-cut sisal carpets of the JAIPUR quality in a rich chocolate brown were made, edged with a fine leather band. In the office areas, the durable wool carpet REP was used over approximately 3,000 square meters, in the form of 1 x 1 meter tiles. In the nearby company restaurant, the easy-care wool carpet FLATWOOL, a flat weave, was laid over 4,500 square meters.
