A crystalline play of forms and colours – Patricia Urquiola's LOGENZE shows an irregular geometrical figure consisting of several rhombuses. Inspired by Soumak technique, a traditional weaving technique from the Caucasus, the carpet presents a three-dimensional surface.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Spain in 1961, and studied at the School of Architecture in Madrid and the Milan Polytechnic, where she completed her studies in 1989. In 2001 she founded her own studio in Milan. She is active in the fields of product design, architecture and installations. She works for highly regarded firms such as Cassina, Alessi, B&B Italia, Baccarat, Bisazza, BMW, Driade, Foscarini, Flos, Kartell, Kvadrat, Molteni, Moroso, Mutina Rosenthal and many others.
Patricia Urquiola has won numerous awards, including the Spanish Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes (Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts) in 2010.
